In the first part of this two part workshop, Academic Career Planning 1, we considered what is required for a successful academic career. In this second part we will look at the more practical aspects of making yourself eligible and applying for positions. Through consideration of examples we will explore the elements that make a good curriculum vitae or application form for an academic role and what activities would be useful to enhance your CV.
Attendance at part I of the Academic Career Planning workshop is useful but not necessary. If you do not attend part I you will be provided with pre-course reading.
